Barbara Bradley Hagerty

Barbara Bradley Hagerty, is religion correspondent for National Public Radio, reporting on the intersection of faith and politics, law, science, and culture. Her best-selling book, “Fingerprints of God: The Search for the Science of Spirituality,” was published in May 2009. She has won numerous awards for her reporting on religion, including the American Women in Radio and Television Award, the Headliners Award, and the Religion Newswriters Association Award. She was selected for the Templeton-Cambridge Fellowship in Science and Religion in 2005. She has appeared on the PBS Washington Week in Review and The Lehrer News Hour programs. She holds a Masters degree in legal studies from Yale Law School. Her topic: “Is There Evidence for God? Dispatches from the Frontiers of Science.”
