Mark Wexler is Executive Director and Co-Founder of Not for Sale, a movement to re-abolish slavery. He found his vocational direction while working on the streets of Durban, South Africa, and left in 2006 to found Not for Sale with Dave Batstone and Kique Bazan. Mark is a partner in the Right Reality Fund, which invests at the intersection of for-profit and non-profit industries. At Not for Sale, Mark manages program directors and facilitates strategic partnership agreements with other institutions in both for-profit and social sectors. As a modern-day abolitionist, Mark’s passion is directed at the estimated 27 million slaves who live in bondage today, in restaurants and fields, construction sites and brothels, suburbs and cities, in the United States and abroad. He recognizes that the battle to end slavery begins by revealing it.
